Having previously graduated with a BSc in Anatomy from Glasgow University, I am now studying my masters in Human Clinical Embryology & Assisted Conception at University of Dundee. I am currently in Dr Ian Ganley’s lab to complete my research project, investigating mitophagy in the reproductive organs of mice. This could provide useful information for assisted reproduction particularly in cases of mitochondrial disease where mitochondrial DNA transfer is currently the only treatment option
