I joined the lab in September 2014 and am working towards understanding how the enzymes that generate ubiquitin signals on one hand can be highly specific (Fanconi Anemia pathway) as well as prolific (early-onset Parkinsonism).

I obtained my PhD (2011) from the London Research Institute (now Francis Crick Institute), London, UK. This was followed by a postdoctoral research fellowship (2011-2014) at the Max Planck Institute-IE, Freiburg, Germany where I worked on mechanisms associated with the Small Ubiquitin related MOdifier (SUMO).
