Yosua, the first PhD student in the lab submits his PhD thesis. Congrats Yosua! He will be defending his thesis in March.

Joshua Peters joins the lab for his PhD. Joshua did his master's research using single molecule approaches to study conformational dynamics of molecular machines. Welcome Joshua.

Yosua Kristariyanto takes a break from writing his PhD thesis to attend the 2016 EMBO Young Investigator PhD Course
November
Deepika Pathak joins the lab as a postdoc.
October
Two new postdocs join the lab in October. Welcome to Marjorie Petitjean and Stephen Mathews (Steve).
Marjorie will be funded by Tenovus Scotland and will analyse the cellular roles of MINDY DUBs.
Steve is an immunologist and will study roles of ubiquitin signalling in T cells using mouse models.

The 2016 lab retreat at Dunblane (The tennis star Andy Murray hails from Dunblane). It was 3 days of scientific discussions, fun, games and awesome food. Pics here
