We are seeking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher who will be based in the group of Dario Alessi FRS, to study the role of the WNK protein kinases in regulation ion homeostasis. This work aims to build upon some ground-breaking recent as yet unpublished work, that has uncovered a new signalling pathway controlled by the WNK kinases. We aim to better understand the downstream biology controlled by this novel pathway.

The position is fixed term for 36 months. Salary will depend on experience, but the appointment will be made on the University's Grade 7 salary scale.

Appointment on the Grade 7 salary scale is dependent upon you having been awarded a PhD. An appointment may be considered if you are shortly expected to be awarded a PhD.
