Daniel carried out his PhD at the Barcelona Science Park, working on the developement of fluorescent cell-penetrating peptides, which provided him with solid expertise in peptide chemistry and cell imaging. After that, he joined Prof. Ivan Huc's group to work on the developement of DNA mimics based on ologoquinoline amides.
