After having my second child I was a housewife for 5 years, 2 of which were spent working in the evenings at the Levis Strauss Jean Factory as a Quality Control Inspector. I started at the University of Dundee in October 1998, spending 2 years in the wash-up before joining the MRC PPU as a Tissue Culture Technician. I help maintain the Unit's 4 Tissue Culture suites, and have had in-house training culturing cells.
