I joined the Ian Ganley lab at the end of January 2018 as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant. My project is focused on the understanding how selective autophagy processes are (co)regulated.

Before joining the lab I studied Life Science at the University of Strasbourg. First I obtained a Master degree intitle « Cellular and Molecular Physiopathology » from the medical school of Strasbourg. Then I performed my PhD at the IGBMC (Institute of Genetics and Molecular and Cellular Biology, Illkirch) in the « Molecular and Cellular Biology of breast cancer » team directed by Dr. Catherine Tomasetto. During my PhD I investigated the role of STARD3, an endosomal overexpressed breast cancer protein, in cholesterol transport. Moreover, I also studied the function of STARD3 in NPC disease, which is characterized by an accumulation of cholesterol in endosomes and a deregulation of autophagy process.
