I am a postdoctoral researcher in Karim's laboratory since April 2014, and I study the regulation of chromosome replication using Caenorhabditis elegans. I obtained my PhD from Lausanne university (Switzerland) in 2005 working with Pierre Gonczy and investigating the function of ZYG-11 and the Cullin CUL-2, in meiotic cell cycle progression and cell polarity in the worm embryo. I moved then to Dundee in 2007 to the laboratory of Julian Blow, in collaboration with Anton Gartner, to study the regulation of the replicative helicase in the worm embryo.
