Sven Lange, a PhD student working in the labs of Yogesh Kulathu and Philip Cohen, has won third prize for his poster at the joint Dundee-Tokyo Postgraduate Student Research Symposium held in the School of Life Sciences at Dundee on Friday September 22nd 2017. Sven won the prize for his poster entitled "Evaluation of the pseudokinases IRAK2 and IRAK3 as targets for new drugs to treat inflammatory diseases" which presented his recent research on the structural analysis of IRAK2 and IRAK3 and their interaction with small molecules. Commenting on the award, Sven said that "the cash prize of £25 was suitably invested at the local pub in the evening!"
