I am currently a third year biomedical sciences student at the University of Dundee and will begin my fourth year in September. I have always enjoyed my time in the lab as part of my undergraduate degree so am looking forward to learning and working in a research laboratory as part of the summer studentship as I hope to work in a lab like this in the future. I enjoy neuroscience so am excited about my summer project involving the PINK-1 protein and Parkinson's disease.
