I am a year 4 Undergraduate Student starting my Honours year. I am working with Dr Mahima Swamy and her team to better understand the relationship between the immune system of the gut and its possible intersection with neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson's. The primary focus of my project is to help investigate the role of PINK1 kinase in immune cells.
