Sukriti is a keen experimental biologist with an interest in protein biochemistry. He holds an MSc in Biology from Ashoka University (India), where he specialised in structural biology. During his master's thesis, he aimed to mechanistically understand how a nuclear oncoprotein is transported to the mitochondria.
Before receiving an MRC PPU PhD studentship, Sukriti acquired diverse research and cultural experiences from his work placements in New Delhi, New York, and Vienna. At the MRC PPU, Sukriti aims to develop and solve protein biochemistry problems while maintaining a collaborative approach to science. Outside the lab, he is an avid reader of suspense novels and enjoys cooking Indian cuisine.
