I am a MD-student from the University of Münster in Germany and joined the lab of Esther Sammler in October 2026 to work on my MD-thesis for a year. In my project I will be looking at the PINK1/Parkin-pathway.

Prior to my studies I was able to do an internship at the Institute of Neurogenetics of the University of Lübeck for 8 months where I first came into touch with neurodegenerative diseases. This experience sparked my interest in neurodegeneration and basic science.
