I joined the lab in July 2014 as a joint postdoctoral researcher between Helen's group and Alessio Ciulli's group in the Division of Biological Chemistry & Drug Discovery. The aim of my project is to identify small molecules modulating the protein-protein interactions in the Fanconi anemia pathway.
I obtained my PhD from the University of Messina (Italy) working on the structure-based design of small molecules inhibiting the interaction between HIV-1 integrase and its cellular cofactor LEDGF/p75. During my PhD I spent a few months as a visiting PhD student at the University of Siena, University of Cambridge and University of Dundee.
