I joined the lab as a Parkinson's UK funded PhD student in September 2015. My project aims to understand the downstream signalling of novel targets of the PINK1 kinase. I obtained a First Class BSc (Hons) degree from the University of the West of England in Biological Sciences in July 2015 after completion of a placement year in the Protein Degradation DPU at GlaxoSmithKline. During my year at GSK I was involved in the development of novel chemical protein knockdown strategies using PROTAC technologies.
