I joined the Alessi Lab in August 2024 as a Research Technician, after previously graduating in June 2024 with a first-class Honours degree in Microbiology from the University of Dundee. During this time, I studied host-pathogen interactions with the obligate human pathogen Streptococcus pneumoniae under Dr Daniel Neill. I am looking forward to expanding my technical skills and knowledge in a new environment within the MRC PPU.
