I am a Visiting Student in Dr. Muqit’s laboratory as part of the Dundee Life Sciences Vacation Studentship Programme. I am in the third year of my Bachelor's Degree in Medicine at Hospital de Sant Pau i la Santa Creu, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain). I have previously taken part in short internships in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Romain Quidant at ICFO The Institute of Photonic Sciences (Spain), and in the laboratory of Dr. Xavier Estivill, at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (Spain). During my summer project I will be investigating the Parkin protein.
