I joined Gopal Sapkota's Lab in October 2024, and my PhD Project is focused on identifying novel methods to proximity induced de-phosphorylation of proteins. This emerging technology has the potential to reverse diseases such Alzheimer's. As this technology grows it could be adapted to other dysfunctional proteins suffering from excessive phosphorylation.

Prior to my PhD, I completed my master's in chemistry at the University of Sussex. My dissertation revolved around novel PROTAC synthesis under supervision of Dr. John Spencer. I additionally completed a placement year at Boehringer Ingelheim in Vienna where I focused on lysine site ubiquitylation and PROTAC linker effects on site specificity.
