I have completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences in the University of Essex and graduated in 2019. During my studies I have completed a placement year, as well as the final year project, in Cambridge University Hospitals. The project was a validation of a testing method for chimerism monitoring in patients post haematopoietic stem cell transplantation, which, upon completion, was introduced into routine clinical services. After graduating, I have continued my work in Tissue Typing as a HCPC registered scientist, supporting HSCT and solid organ transplant patients. During the pandemic I have temporarily moved to Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology laboratory, where I was involved in setting up Sars-Cov-2 antibody assay and several research studies. After 2 years in CUH, I have decided to move to research and in September 2020 joined the Wellcome PhD program in the University of Dundee.
