I graduated in Life Science from Hassiba Ben  Bouali University (Algeria). I completed a Masters degree in 2014 from Grenoble Alpes University (France), and then a PhD degree in Functional and Structural Biology from Paris-Saclay University (France). I completed my thesis work at the CNRS laboratory Analysis and Modeling for Biology and Environment, Evry where I investigated the proteomic analysis of human endosulfatases HSulfs which are key enzymes in the modulation of the sulfation pattern of heparan sulfate.

I joined the Alessi lab in 2019 as a post-doctoral researcher (Dundee University) to investigate the role of the NUAK protein kinases in regulating cell growth and hippo biology and its relevance to cancer. This project is in collaboration with Merck.
