I am Chinese and obtained my B.Sc. in biochemistry at the University of HAN (the Netherlands) in 2011. During this period, I carried out a one year internship in Philip Cohen's lab at the MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit in Dundee. I then spent two years as a PhD student at Purdue University, Indiana, USA where I focused on development methodologies related to phosphoproteomics. However, realising that I was much more interested in cell signaling research, I decided to move back to Dundee and carry out my Ph.D. in the Cohen lab, which I rejoined in June 2013.
