I’m a fourth year Biomedical Sciences student here at the University of Dundee. As part of my degree, I spent second year on a year-long Turing Scheme exchange placement at California State University Monterey Bay.

During my time at CSUMB, I predominantly studied Molecular & Cellular Biology and Organic Chemistry within the College of Science (minoring in Kinesiology), before returning to Dundee in 2022 for Junior and Senior Honours, continuing to study Biomedical Sciences with a Pharmacology focus.

This September I’ve joined the MRC PPU as an Undergraduate Honours Student within Amos Liang’s lab, undertaking a project focusing on characterising the role of the unfolded protein response (UPR) on Endoplasmic Reticulum autophagy (ER-phagy) regulation.
