I joined the laboratories of Dr. Muqit and Prof. Alessi as a PhD student in May 2015. I am funded by a J Macdonald Menzies Charitable Trust Prize Studentship. My project aims to investigate PINK1 signalling in human Parkinson's disease models and tissues. Additionally, I will continue my studies of Macromolecular Science at the University of Bayreuth, Germany.

Before joining the lab, I obtained both my BSc and MSc degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Bayreuth, Germany.
