I am a 2nd year student at the University of Edinburgh, currently doing my Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and undertaking a summer placement in Miratul Muqit’s lab. My project involves treating HEK293 cells with damaging agents and observing whether there is any change in ubiquitin phosphorylation by using different antibodies that correspond to certain phospho-ubiquitins on amino acid chains.
