After obtaining an MSc in Biotechnology from the University of Gdansk, Poland, I moved to Manchester where I got my PhD studying the biogenesis of membrane proteins at the endoplasmic reticulum. I stayed at the University of Manchester as a post-doctoral researcher and focused on investigating aspects of protein quality control.
I moved to Dundee in January 2014 and currently I am trying to elucidate the function of a deubiquitinating enzyme implicated in human disease.
