I joined the lab in March 2015 as a postdoctoral researcher. My project focuses on development of antibodies that can be used as tools to study the biology of Rab proteins as substrates for LRRK2 kinase and their potential relevance to Parkinson's disease.

I obtained my PhD from the University of Wroclaw (Poland) in January 2014 in the lab of Prof. Stanislaw Ulaszewski, for the work on the mode of action of 3-bromopyruvate in the yeast S. cerevisiae and in multiple myeloma, with focus on its uptake pathways and potential resistance mechanisms as well as its influence on glycolysis and mitochondria.
