I obtained my Masters degree from Delhi University, India in 2012. Thereafter I worked as a Junior Research Fellow in the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, India, under the supervision of Dr.S.G Srivatsan and Prof.Sanjeev Galande, trying to develop a novel method to detect RNA synthesis in human cell lines with an alkyne and azide modified form of uridine.
I joined Karim's group in June 2014 and am studying the mechanism by which the E3 ubiquitin ligase SCF-Dia2 drives disassembly of the CMG helicase.
