I completed my M.Sc. in Biotechnology from IIT Bombay in 2021. For my Master’s thesis project, I worked on developing a novel and efficient β-glucosidase for industrial bioethanol production using structure-based rational design approach. Later, I joined National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), Bangalore as a CSIR Junior Research Fellow to work on a project that focused on elucidating the unfolding pathway of a Ubiquitin-like modifier FAT10. In 2022, I received the Tricia Cohen Prize PhD Studentship and joined the lab to pursue my interest in ubiquitin biology. In my spare time, I enjoy singing and exploring new places.
