I have a BSc Hons in Applied Marine Biology from Heriot-Watt University. I studied a Masters in Biomedical and Molecular Sciences at the University of Dundee last year, joining Dr Chiara Maniaci’s lab to conduct my Masters research project.

I am currently undertaking a PhD in Dr Maniaci’s lab and my project involves the characterisation of SDE2 and other UBL-fusion proteins with a view to unravel key cellular machinery for spliceosome regulation.
