My name is Ridvan Kucuk, I am 20 years old and I came to Scotland two years from Croatia to pursue my BSc Hons Neurosciences degree here at the University of Dundee. I just finished the second year of my course and currently I am undertaking a summer placement at the MRC PPU in Professor Muqit's Lab. I undertook the placement in order to challenge myself and to gain knowledge, skills and experience in scientific research. Within the field of Neuroscience I am particularly interested in neurodegenerative diseases as well as neuroscience psychology. Outside the field of science I enjoy reading and writing and I am quite passionate about football."
