I joined Greg Findlay's group in September 2014 as a postdoctoral researcher. My project aims to investigate the role of protein phosphorylation networks in regulating embryonic stem (ES) cell biology and differentiation.
I was awarded my PhD in Biology in 2013 from the University of León, Spain, where I also had obtained both my BSc and my Master's. During my PhD I worked under the supervision of Dr Carmen Marin and Dr Margarita Marqués to understand the role of p73, a p53 family member, in endothelial cell differentiation, the biological functioning of endothelial cells and the formation of blood vessels.
