I joined the lab of Professor Satpal Virdee in 2026 as a PhD student in the MRC PPU, where my research focuses on activity-based probe profiling (ABPP) and mass spectrometry proteomics to study E3 ligases. My work aims to develop proteomic workflows to map probe labelling sites and discover novel E3 ligase activities.

Prior to joining the Virdee lab, I was part of the chemoproteomics platform team at Belharra Therapeutics in San Diego, USA. I supported high-throughput screening and hit validation of photoaffinity small molecules through mass spectrometry-based proteomics and analysed proteome-wide target engagement.

I completed my BSc in Cellular & Molecular Biology at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, USA. As an undergraduate researcher, I functionally characterised the genetic mechanisms of virulence genes in Bordetella pertussis, the bacterium responsible for whooping cough disease.
