I obtained a B.Tech in Biotechnology degree (with distinction) from Amity University (India) in 2011, and an MRes in Cancer Biology (with distinction) from the University of Dundee in 2012. Subsequently, I was awarded an Overseas Research Studentship from the University of Dundee and Medical Research Scotland to carry out out my PhD in the lab of Dr. David Meek, which I received in November 2016. My project involved studies on the regulation of the oncogenic protein kinase PIM1 by SUMOylation. I joined the Cohen lab in January 2017 as a postdoctoral researcher.
