I joined Madsen (Madness) Lab in September 2025 as a Research Intern to contribute to the ongoing research on PI3K signaling pathway. We focus on investigating underappreciated properties of the signaling pathway, such as signaling modalities as well as spatio-temporal regulation of the signal transmission.

Prior to joining the lab, I did my M.Sc. In University of Oulu, Finland, while completing my M.Sc. Pro-Gradu project in Prof. Bart Vanhaesebroeck Lab at UCL Cancer Institute in London. There, I worked together with Dr. Benoit Bilanges on identifying PI3Kα-activation-induced-cytotoxicity, using PI3Kα specific activator 1938-TRO to selectively kill cancer cells, harboring PI3K-associated mutations.
