Alban Ordureau becomes a Principal Investigator

Alban Ordureau, a PhD student and then postdoc in Philip Cohen’s lab from 2008-2013 has been appointed Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator in the Cell Biology Program at the Sloan Kettering Institute, New York, one of the world’s leading cancer research institutes. Alban has been a postdoctoral fellow in Wade Harper’s lab at Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA for the past seven years, where he carried out outstanding research on the PINK1-Parkin signalling pathway that is deregulated in Parkinson’s disease, and for which he was awarded one of Harvard’s prestigious Lefler Fellowships. Alban is now looking forward to the challenge of setting up his own lab from scratch in the Big Apple!
