I completed a BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Dundee in 2011. I obtained a PhD from the University of Aberdeen in 2016. I was in a CRUK funded post-doc position at the University of Manchester in the lab of Anthony Whetton from 2016 to 2021. My background is in mass spectrometry and bioinformatics.

My work at the MRC-PPU is collaborative with the UKDRI. I will be providing mass spectrometry, proteomics, and bioinformatics support to the institute. In addition to this role, I am performing sample processing, mass spectrometry and data analysis on individual collaborative research projects from across the UKDRI.
