I joined Greg Findlay´s group in January 2018 as a PhD student. I was awarded my BSc in Life Sciences in summer 2016 from the HAN University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. I spent my last BSc year performing a one year internship in the MRC-PPU under the supervision of Professor John Rouse. During this year, I worked in unraveling the role of the deubiquitylases USP22 and USP49 in the DNA damage response (DDR). My project in Greg’s lab aims to investigate the regulation and function of the RNF12 E3 ubiquitin ligase in stem cells and neural development, and how this is disrupted in intellectual disability patients.
