I joined the Sapkota lab in September 2018 under a Cunningham Trust funded studentship. My project aims to apply the AdPROM system to protein aggregates in neurodegenerative disease models.

Prior to joining the lab I obtained a first class honours in Biomedical, Health and Life sciences at University College Dublin in Ireland. With a strong focus on translational research in my course, I always knew I wanted to carry out a PhD with a focus on human health, which led me to my current project within the lab. I was lucky enough to be chosen to carry out my final year project under Prof. Jill Storry in Lund, Sweden in the Division of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine.
