I joined the lab as a postdoctoral researcher in August 2014. My major project is to elucidate the regulation of a mitochondrial kinase PINK1, whose activity is disrupted in an autosomal-recessive form of Parkinson's disease.
Before joining the lab, I was a postdoctoral researcher at de Duve Institute and Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) working on the role of AMPK, PKB and mTOR signalling on metabolism. I obtained my PhD degree from Norwegian School of Sport Sciences in 2010 working on the effect of contraction on muscle glucose metabolism.
