I joined the Professor Gopal Sapkota Lab in 2025, where my research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms governing the Wnt signalling pathway, specifically how the novel proteins FAM83F and FAM83G contribute to its regulation. My goal is to translate these findings into novel therapeutic strategies for cancer characterized by hyperactive Wnt signalling. Prior to joining the Sapkota Lab, I earned my PhD and completed my postdoctoral training at the University of Edinburgh. My research there explored how the post-translational modification S-nitrosylation influences host immune responses by regulating gene expression through the modulation of transcription factor activity and protein kinase signalling pathways.
