Juliette Barber and Jessica Rowe
We’re delighted to announce that PhD students Juliette Barber and Jessica Rowe, both from the MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit, have been awarded joint 1st prize for their poster presentations at this year’s 3rd year PhD poster symposium in the School of Life Sciences.
Juliette, a member of the Ganley lab, presented her work on “Investigating a novel ATG5 independent mitophagy pathway: ATG16L1 (100-250) mediated mitophagy”.
Jessica, a member of the Swatek lab, presented her research on “Uncovering the Role of ISG15 in Modulating Interferon Signalling”.
This joint recognition reflects their hard work and quality of research performed. We wish them continued success as they progress through their studies.
