I started my PhD in Prof Alessi's lab in September 2018. My research interests revolve around understanding cell signalling pathways and how disruptions to these pathways can lead to disease. The aim of my project is to study the function and regulation of leucine rich repeat kinase 1 (LRRK1) in order to better understand the Parkinson's disease-associated protein, LRRK2.

Prior to starting at the PPU, I obtained a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Leicester and an MSc in Neuroscience from UCL.
