I joined the Unit in September 2017 on a 4-Year MRC-PPU PhD Studentship. I completed my first rotation project within the Ganley Lab, where I worked on further characterising the signalling involved in mitophagy regulation.

My project within the Sapkota Lab involves the development of the AdPROM system for chemically tuneable target protein degradation. Previously, I completed an MSci (Hons) in Biomedical Science (Physiology) at the University of Aberdeen, where I worked on the protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B) in the Lab of Professor Mirela Delibegovic. During my degree, I completed an Industrial Placement within the On-Market Support and Technology Transfer Group at Axis-Shield Diagnostics, Dundee, where I was involved in the optimisation and development of various immunoassay technologies.
