The MRC PPU was honoured to host Professor Wendell Lim for the 24th Dundee Cell Signalling Lecture.

Wendell is Professor of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at University of California, San Francisco and an investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) since 2008.

The Dundee Cell Signalling Lecture is the most important one on the MRC-PPU’s calendar.

Wendell Lim has made very important contributions to our fundamental understanding of signalling pathways and how they have evolved in function to regulate biology efficiently. He is particularly interested in understanding how living cells use molecular networks to process information and make decisions.

Wendell Lim's seminar was a brilliant tour de force outlining the incredible advances that he and his colleagues have made in re-wiring signalling pathways to better treat human disease and understand biology.

The 25th Dundee Cell Signalling lecture will be delivered by Kun-Liang Guan, University of California San Diego on September 3rd, 2018.
