I graduated with a BSc in Biology from the University of Helsinki, Finland, in 2018. I first joined Professor Thomas McWilliams research group in 2021 to profile autophagy pathways in the aging mammalian brain, and obtained a MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Helsinki in 2022.

I’m pursuing my PhD research in Mcwilliams’ group since 2023, where my project focuses on understanding organelle homeostasis and autophagy trajectories in neuronal subpopulations in mammalian and long-lived aging models. My research is funded by a four-year Scholarship from the Brain and Mind doctoral program.
